The Bicycle Abs Exercise
This is a good exercise to build on your lower abs and rectus abs. Lie flat on the floor, keeping your lower back pressed to the ground. Lift your knees to point up at the ceiling at forty-five degrees, and bring your hands near your head. Begin cycling as if you were riding a bike. Lift the left knee and at the same time, lift the right elbow to touch one it. The opposite side should be done. You’ll feel pressure in your mid-section and fat will be burned. For the best impact, do twenty reps daily.
The Captain’s Chair Exercise for the Abs
You will need a regular gym equipment piece called the Captain’s Chair for this exercise. The back of your forearms should be against the arm rests of the chair while holding the grip handles. Put your feet on the provided step rests. And with your forearms, hoist your body up and your feet off the steps together. Your back should stay tight against the backrest of the chair as you hold your body up and let your feet dangle. Tighten your abdominal muscles by lifting up your knees to your chest and exhale while you do this. Hold them there for a few seconds and lower them again. Several reps should be done. As you lift your knees, your middle section will tighten, and as they lower, the tension will release. This exercise is extremely effective when done properly. Doing repetitions daily, your stomach will tighten.
There are several other crunch exercises that you can do to get you the abs that you want. The abs are worked the best when using these two exercises. Getting a fit and toned abs is done with these two exercises.
