Body Cleanse Detox - Clean Your Body For A Better Tomorrow

Magazines and television programs have given a lot of coverage on the benefits, and different methods, of doing a body cleanse. There is so much information about it in the media; it's really difficult to sort out what you should do. Which method is best? What will you need and how do you prepare? What can you expect? For every question there are literally thousands of answers.

Well, here's the good news - your body cleanses itself naturally! Your real goal here is to keep things simple and enhance you natural body processes. So there is no need to fast, no need for pills or equipment. Cleansing toxins is a continuous internal process. You just have to learn how make your body more efficient at it!

The first thing to understand is where the toxins are coming from and how they get in your system. We absorb most toxins from our environment. Air particulates, chemicals in our food, cleaning solutions, even lotion! Chemicals are everywhere. Toxins can build up inside or bodies if our organs cannot process and eliminate them faster than we are taking them in.

This build up of toxins can eventually lead to chronic medical problems from fatigue to heart problems. This is why so many health experts recommend a body cleanse regime. Experts agree, however, that it should be part of a new, healthy lifestyle rather than the occasional ritual.

Basically what you will need to do is keep the demands on your digestive system to a minimum! Eat only easy-to-digest foods like whole fruits and vegetables. Proteins like meat, eggs, nuts, dairy, and legumes (beans) take a lot of work for your body to digest, which means they make more demands on your organs. Fats are also hard for your body to process. All whole fruits and vegetables (not canned) are great for a body detox, so stock up on your favorites. Eat until you are full, but do not further stress your system by overeating.

The second thing you will need to do for your detox is drink a lot of water. This will ensure your organs are properly hydrated and working at their best capacity. Filtered tap water is fine - most filters sufficiently remove toxins from your water. If you do not like just plain water, you can try iced or hot tea. Just go for decaffeinated and do not add sugar or dairy.

Technically, you should avoid all stimulants like caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. The majority of people cannot give these up. Do what you can. If you are planning on eliminating any or all of these for the period of your cleansing, give yourself a week or so to taper off so you do not experience severe withdrawal symptoms. If you cannot eliminate these things, do not despair! By drinking more water and sticking to fresh fruit and vegetables you will still get cleansing benefits. Do not stop taking prescribed medication for any reason.

It's that easy! Get rest, drink as much water as you can, and eat foods that are easy on your system. If you plan to do this for a couple weeks or more, you will need to make sure you are getting some protein. Research how vegans get adequate protein and work that into your diet. If you are pregnant or have any serious health problems, please consult with your doctor before starting any body cleanse detox. You may not like it at first and you will probably spend a lot of time in the bathroom, but your body will definitely thank you for the body cleanse detox.
